Fat Free Isn't Always the way to be, at Least When it Comes to Salad Dressing
Check out this article about how low fat salad dressing isn't really that good for you and in fact it's better to eat salad dressing with fat in it. It all has to do with the pairing of the fat and the nutrients in the leafy greens and how your body accepts it all. But the study/article by Purdue University does a better job at explaining it than I do so check it out!

Dirty Stallis Fence Fix
My dirty stallis fix for a dog who kept trying to escape by opening up the fence.
Previously we had to put a bungee cord around the fence and another one wrapped around the board on the left. I got tired of having to do that as it took forever so I came up with a Dirty Stallis Solution: ZipTies!

Turn Any Blender into a Magic Bullet with a Mason Jar

For those of you who desperately want a Magic Bullet and have been sucked in to the infomercial (it's currently my favorite) but can't afford one or just want to try one out check out this link. It shows you how to make your own Magic Bullet out of your blender and a mason jar. As always be careful with this you are still using your blender.

Lenovo Water Stress Test
Here's a YouTube video that shows the water resistance of the Lenovo T410 series. We use these models of laptops at my work and there's this little symbol on the bottom of all of our laptops that show a picture of a keyboard and a water drop. I always wondered what this meant and after a few Googling I found a few videos of what that port is exactly for. It's a pretty good idea seeing how often people have coffee near their laptops at work.
Also check out the video below which compares it to a HP competitor that is also in the Business Class of laptops.

Camera Megapixels: Why more isn't always better
A little article to check out about how more megapixels isn't always better in a smart phone, courtesy of CNet, a well know Technology review site. It reinforces the fact that a bigger number isn't always better.

Free WiFi Tethering for Android Phones
For those of you looking to use your Android phone as a WiFi hotspot for some on the go internet check out this link from the guys over at Droid Life. There's an app out there called FoxFi that allows you to do this without having to pay anything extra on your data plan saving you a cool $20 or so dollars. This could come in handy when you need to submit your paper at 11:59 pm Sunday night when you're in the middle of the rain forest or just somewhere without wifi for your computer. (note I am not responsible for any extra charges that this may result in ;) )

Microsoft Finally Ends Supporting XP in 2014
All I can say is...FINALLY!!! Time for an 11 year old operating system to finally be put to rest. XP was a great operating system, I can't say that I haven't had some great times with this guy. Oh the days of Kazaa and stealing music and videos, I was 10 so I had no idea what I was doing but I sure couldn't have done this without XP. To quote cracked.com "It's like Microsoft named Windows XP perfectly because they couldn't live up to its enormous success with Vista, so XP is literally forms a smiley with closed eyes and is sticking its tongue out at Vista." Basically this OS stayed around so long because when people saw Vista they had to start to pretend to like XP all over again.
We will miss you XP.
